my kindle was fine when I switched it off, but will not turn on again. I have tried this with the mains connection on & off. When pressing the on/off button, the green light comes on, briefly, then — nothing! The charging light seems to work, but the kindle will simply not boot! Any suggestions?
I had the same problem as you.All you need to do is hold in the start button for 20 seconds and it will reboot the kindle and it will reload everything.
