I have looked into several repair manuals for a solution and they seem to lead to problem with the mother board. yes I attached the laptop to another monitor just in case it was just the screen ( no go) Thanks for your help.
Hi, If you are not getting display of windows even on your external monitor then yes it is your logic board problem which might have been caused by integrated VGA over heating the cpu on board. The best thing to do is to take it to a repair shop and see if they can identify the faulting circuit. Else you can buy a new board for your laptop model from ebay and have it installed in your laptop by a technician. Good Luck.
