Hi, the tablet’s LCD ribbon cable connector that is on the LCD body (i.e. not that one that typically gets loose on the mainboard) seems to have opened and the cable end is loose. I cannot find the way how to access the connector short of removing the glass and prying up the LCD, which way I will probably destroy both. Is there another way to access the LCD ribbon connector? Thanks!
Jan Přikryl not without the proper tools to disassemble the complete assembly. Most DIY’er do not have this kind of setup so you are looking at having to replace the display assembly.
