I have a screen that needs replacing so purchased a replacement screen but, discovered the controller board connections are different. However can I swap my controller from the LM270WQ1 SD E3 with the controller in the working lcd LM270WQ1 SD A2 thanks everyone in advanced
Are you sure the T-CON board is good? Do you have a cracked LCD screen or is there another issue? You may find the problem was within the T-CON board not the LCD so you aren’t really fixing things. I’ve never tried swapping the boards between different series so I’m not sure if it will even work. Have you tried talking to the seller of the wrong display or have any way of getting the correct one? I would hate to see you take such a risk when we just don’t know enough.
