I was trying to replace the LCD/Digitizer on my laptop (Lenovo Yoga 700-11ISK). But the new LCD/Digitizer/Bezel, didn’t come with everything on it, so I had to transfer some parts over to it (webcam, wifi antenna, etc.). I have looked at the guide for this and it doesn’t go past just removing the screen. On the old screen, there is a little circuit board that the 2 ribbons from the LCD plug into that need to be transferred to the new bezel. But the ribbons were glued into the circuit board and I was not able to remove them without damaging the board. Can you tell me what this board is, or where I can buy another one? I have attached photos of it. The 2nd photo is of some markings I found under the tape on the back of it that might help identify it.
Update (08/19/2018) Here is the photo of the placement of the board that I mentioned in the reply to @oldturkey03 (circled in orange). This is not a photo of my laptop. This is from the lenovo parts site. Hope this helps. Eric
@eww34445 that looks like the LCD controller board. Tripod makes t-con boards, so this should be part of the controller It will help if you can tell us, or show us, where it was glued to. If it was glued to the LCD itself it should be part of the LCD screen. Besides the excellent guides you can also download the maintenance manual for your computer from here
