The tools list for the 6 plus screen replacement guide specifies a phillips #000 screwdriver, but I’ve seen many sources (including the ifixit guide) that indicate #00 sized screws for the LCD shield plate. I can’t get these screws out. Can someone please confirm for me the actual size of the LCD shield plate screws? Also, I see the screwdrivers come in a blunted tip and a pointy tip version. Which should I get?
Hello, you need Phillips #000 Screwdriver. You can buy it at Ifixit and if you buy tools from Ifixit you gain lifetime warranty and for phone parts it’s mostly 1 year.
