the aluminum tube between dieselpump and injection of cylinder number 1 is leaking. i can’t get the sparepart anymore (VW 072 130 301). it’s a tiny hole spraying fuel all over the motor. it’s under a pressure of 5 atmospheres. difficult to weld, because thin material. glue starts leaking again fast . . please help !
See if you can find a used pipe, never heard about this problem with this engine. Assume the engine is a 2.5 tdi.
I have a special mixed alloy soldering stick, which I make my self by mixing alloys together. I can solder a split in an aluminum drink can, you can not get much thiner surface to solder than that! So your alum tube would be an easy repair. I can also repair /weld alloy broken keys, alloy brackets, alloy outboard motor propellers, anything alloy. I live in Riga Latvia and am a retired Aircraft mechanic and flight instructor.
