Chosen Solution
First of all i dont have a Toolkit to Open it right now but did order one arriving next week just trying to see if anyone ran into this in the past or has any pointers for me. It randomly (as in not always but more often than not) left clicks in addition to the normal keyboard input so hitting say Backspace gives me a 90% chance i get the Backspace input + a left click out of the single button press. This Behaviour is CONSISTENT for the entire Keyboard Edit: And no iam not resting my hand / palm / making contact even with the rest of the Body nor the trackpad - not that that would change anything here since it does it either way ….
Lets check the battery as it can swell up pressing on the keyboard & trackpad and their cables. Install this gem of an app CoconutBattery post a snapshot of the main window so we can see how it looks Adding images to an existing question Update (01/16/2019) At the point I think you’ll need to focus on visually inspecting the battery to see if its swollen. Other than that you’ll need to to replace the uppercase MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Upper Case Assembly as that would be cheaper than trying to replace both the keyboard and trackpad as you likely has liquid damage which is shorting things out MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Mid 2014 Upper Case Replacement
