Hey there guys I’m here because I’m having a issue with my PS4 remote. Earlier today I looked at my dogs bowl and to my suprise I saw the left side of my PS4 remote inside my dog bowl. I have 0 idea on how it got in there but all I know is it was in there for a couple of minutes (it was turned on and still working). I then decided to turn it off and open it. I saw water leaking out from the left side and started to dry out the inside. I know the battery still works and hasn’t been damaged because I connected it to a different remote and it worked perfectly fine. So I assumed that the motherboard was the problem so i took 50% alcohol and cleaned it up but it still wouldn’t turn on. I’ve have now taken the PS4 remote apart and put it in a bowl of rice. If this doesn’t worm my last resort it to wait a couple of days and buy 90% alcohol. I read this in another form and it said it was the answer I guess I’ll have to see. If this doesn’t work then I’ll just stick to have 2 remotes instead of 3. I guess me my sis and my cuz can’t play together no more
try taking it to a repair shop, i know repair shops have really expensive equipment to fix liquid damaged cell phones, maybe they could help.
