Is there any way that I can install windows 8.1 on a windows 10 preloaded laptop from 2021, and get compatible drivers installed along with it or is it not possible. I have a lenovo ideapad 1 14igl05 from 2021 with windows 10 preloaded. Is there are any drivers can someone show me how to install them during the windows 8.1 installtion?
Hi Just curious why you want to downgrade the OS? Win 8.1 extended support from Microsoft, ends on 10th Jan 2023 (EOL - End of life) If you need to install Win 8.1 drivers in a Win 10 PC for some reason, try installing them in compatibility mode. Right click on the driver installation file and click on Properties > Compatibility tab and under Compatibility Mode, select the checkbox named Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Win 8.1. You can do the same with a program. When installing the program right click on the Setup file and follow the above to select compatibility mode for Win 8.1
