Hello! I’ve been trying to find a replacement for the battery in my Lenovo Ideapad 730s without success. I purchased (this was a mistake) the battery for the Lenovo Yoga 730 as it had very similar serial numbers but it’s a complete different size than the original battery and won’t fit in the computer slot. Any tips? The model is not showing up in the ifixit list of models which makes me feel quite hopeless about this! Thanks in advance!
Leora Mincer you can download the service manual for your Ideapad from here which will show you how to work on it. Your Ideapad’s battery should be a L17C4PE1. Check that number against the number on the old battery. Then do an online search based on that number and you should find plenty of batteries in plenty of price categories. Purchases from a supplier that meets your expectation.
