Lever will not go fully into reverse. Craftsman Lawn Tractor Automatic Trans. Model #917.272681. Goes forward fine but when going to reverse the lever only goes part way and tractor backs very slowly.
Hello, presumably, the drive pulley or clutch disc is worn out.
Reverse not working on my 2014 Craftsman Garden Tractor. Found frame to be cracked in half on both sides. The angle changed the reverse pedal travel so it does not engage.
I was looking for the same problem and came across your answer hollis… Thought you were just crazy….. til I looked at mine and saw the same thing….. THANK
