LG Inverter Direct Drive LDS5040S has a blinking “snowflake” light and will not run.
Hi @cstine , Are there any error codes being displayed at all along with the flashing light? The “snowflake” light indicates that the rinse aid needs to be refilled, although the user manual doesn’t specify whether it is blinking or is on steady when there is no rinse aid left. It is not mentioned as an error indicator in the service manual as the error codes are displayed on the screen Here’s a link that shows how to run diagnostic tests (use LDS5040, LDS4921 series test method) that may help to show what is wrong with the machine if replenishing the rinse aid doesn’t solve the problem
