@masurman Question 1: Will this most likely resolve the issue I’m having? Most likely it will. The water damage on your logic board most likely shorted out the components/traces on the charging circuitry. Of course a good inspection and cleaning of the board may reveal more and possibly a fix for your board. You can always post some good pictures of your board with your Question so that we can see what you see. Question 2: Since it is an older model, is it worth it? Depends on you. $200 is still cheaper than a new MBP and if your computer served you well until now, it is money well spend. Adding images to an existing question
