The mouse does not transmit to the computer and the “invisable optic” light does not light up.

Try a new battery and check the connections on the battery and make sure the battery is facing the correct direction.

One could try re-pairing to the dongle through the Logitech Unifying Software.And the “invisible” optic should be indeed invisible.
