Hi I was wondering if you could find a screen placement for the Macbook Pro 13.3 inch 2018 (A1989). I couldn’t find it on the part, maybe another model could work for this particular mac, cans you as well advise on a complete tool kit to repair the screen. Regards Yvette
since Apple retains control of their parts, you may be able to get a better deal by requesting a “Flat Rate Repair” “depot repair”directly from Apple. They normally don’t tell you about this option. Call them at 1-800-MYAPPLE and request it to get a quote. My guess is that it would be a level 2 repair and cost you about $550. If nothing else, this costs you nothing to ask. Be sure to mention the Depot Repair and Flat rate so they think you are a very knowledgable customer. This is done via FedEx and takes about 5 business days. You just give them your serial number, a credit card and they send you the shipping box overnight.
