Hi. Upon removing the blade SSD (the only drive present in my iMac 21.5 late 2013). How do I connect an SSD? I can’t seem to find any SATA cable. Hoping to replace the blade SSD with a larger SSD. Thank you in advance!
If your system had a blade SSD then I do recommend first replacing it with a larger one. Here’s a good guide on the custom blade SSD’s The Ultimate Guide to Apple’s Proprietary SSDs. Here’s the needed blade drive: SSPOLARIS SSD’s If you want you can add a 2.5” SATA drive but you’ll need to install the needed cable assembly as well as the rubber caps which holds the drive.
