I have a 2002 Cream KIDS II Rae Rabbit that sings “You Are My Sunshine“, and I am hoping to restore the voicebox to give to my sister’s kid. It still sings, but toward the end of the song it sounds faded. Is there anyway I could find so much as a recording, identical toy, or even fix the voice box?
Maybe you can get another 2002 Cream KIDS II Rae Rabbit and use that speaker. When the sound fades it could be actually programed to do that, since its fading slowly out of the song and about to automatically turn off. But if you think otherwise, It could be a split wire or a wire not making a strong enough connection to the speaker. Smell the toy, I know it sounds weird, but you can usually smell a burning out speaker. If it is slowly burning out, you’d have to get a replacement.
