Hi, I have an lg 55le5400 and I’m having some strange issues. After i use it for about an hour it will lose picture and sound for a split second, then sound comes back and picture shortly after. All in about a 1-3 second interval. Still has backlighting when it does this, and I’ve already replaced power and main board. Any help? It’s looking at probably tcon board right?
Hi @regicidal The tcon board doesn’t affect the audio, it deals with video signals between the mainboard and the LCD panel only. It sounds more like a power issue or a signal input issue. Since you have replaced both the power board and the mainboard, try using different input types or cables from the signal source i.e. Component video +audio, HDMI, Composite video +audio etc or even a different signal source e.g. dvd player and check what happens. Here are the video and audio troubleshooting sections from the service manual but as you can see they both mainly concentrate on sections of the mainboard which you have already replaced but they may still come in handy anyway no video no audio Hopefully a start === ===
