Chosen Solution
I recently bought a 2Boom Torrent model BT488 bluetooth speaker. When you power it up, it announces in a loud voice, “POWER ON! BLUETOOTH CONNECTED!” And I mean it’s LOUD. I can’t imagine using it early in the morning in my home office, when others are still asleep. Once it’s on, you can control the volume through your device (not through the speaker itself), but I can’t find a way to lower or mute that startup message. Any ideas?
my BT speaker does the same thing. Stupid loudly, at that. So when I power it on I just hold the speaker face against my thigh until it says bluetooth connected. Muffles it well enough. Theres really no way I’ve ever found to change this issue.
