hi there, I am looking forward to put a 2011 lvds connector on a mid-2012 MacBook Pro 15 a1286, but the connectors don’t look the same. i have seen on eBay that these are interchangeable, is that true please? here is the 2011 lvds connector:

If you are trying to swap out the 2011 logic board with a 2012 logic board, all you need to do is make a very slight modification to the 2011 LVDS cable so that it can plugs into the 2012 logic board using nothing more than a fingernail file!
