Chosen Solution
Power Adaptor is connected, charging is normal (orange light is lighted on the adaptor connector). No signs of life and no welcome chime after I press Power button, except for the cooling fan turning on after a minute. PRAM reset (Command-Option_P-R keys pressed) and SMC reset (Shift-Option-Command-Power on buttons depressed then released) have not helped. Any other ideas, guys?
