Hi, It started with some display flickers issue and delayed screen wake up time if we keep it in sleep. Now after few week laptop is working fine but display doesn’t come up. Got it diagnosed from Apple service center, they told display is fine and told me to replace the logic board. Any suggestions..? Thanks
The tires are flat so change the engine! I love that logic! So you know the system is working as you plugged in an external display which is working without a problem correct? So that tells us most of the logic board is AOK! So why would you replace it?? Let’s look at this a bit deeper. Take a flashlight and place it on your display at a sharp angle are you able to see the faint image of your desktop and its icons? If you do they you’ve focused the issue down to the backlight circuit which has encountered a problem. Now you need to check things physically. Did you have a liquid spill or sit the system down on a wet surface? You’ll need to pop off the bottom cover to inspect things.
