Hello. 2 days ago my Macbook Air got very slowly and started to freezing when i want to open any of apps. I must to hold power button for 5-10 seconds for turn on my Macbook, when i hold the button for less than 5 seconds, I just hear the sound of starting Macbook and nothing after this. My macbook got a slowly startup to, and when i’m at the desktop without any of apps on, kernel_task have very high usage of CPU, about 270%. Things i have tried: Fix disk permissionsFix disk with “Disk Utility"Reistall of OS X - got a little bit betterRestart of SMC/NVRAM/PRAMFix Mac with the “clean my mac” - 0 errorsFix Mac with the “Hardware test” - 0 errors Will change of SDD/battery may help? It sounds like you hitting a full drive issue, your symptoms line up. One of the issues this series encounters is running on its limited RAM it needs to use the drive for virtual RAM. So when you have a full drive the needed space the OS needs is not there! Clean off a good 1/4 of the drive that should stabilize things. But, you have a hidden problem running your system so tight. Your SSD drive needs to even out the wear (wear leveling) in this connection you tend to over wear the drive so you might be at the ned of life on your SSD. You’ll need to get a utility to check it here’s more Monitoring SSD wear and ageing. I personally use: DriveX
