Macbook charger is lit up even though its not plugged in. Any Ideas?

Well this is new one on me. That I look at the pins. They are bring loaded to retract some where plugged in. Use a wooden toothpick to press them in and out and see if they are working correctly. If that fails, I really wouldn’t use it, I’d replace it.
