Macbook Chimes But No Display On Screen Or External Monitor Macbook Pro 13 Retina Display Late 2013

Macbook A1502 chimes when power button is pressed and fan runs, but the screen is blank and the external monitor gets no signal when connected through HDMI. Tried PRAM reset. SMC reset didn’t go through according to the charger light. Thinking this is a mobo issue, can anyone point me toward the areas where the responsible damage might be?
