I have a MacBook Pro mid-2012 running OS 10.14.6. I’m unable to move the cursor using the trackpad. More details: -I’m able to click everything perfectly fine with the trackpad. -It seems like the cursor slightly moves when I press quite hard on the left-hand side of the trackpad. -I don’t know if this related but my MacBook shows “service battery”, the cycle count is 651. -I’ve tried NVRAM, PRAM AND SMC reset. Any help is highly appreciated.
