Hi I have a macbook pro it went flat in class now refuses to turn on. It had no light on the charger originally I pulled the battery and tried to turn it on without a battery, the on white light turned on for 1 second then turned off again. When I reinstalled the battery I got a bright green magsafe light but would not turn on. Now I tried the same thing I get a dim green light on the magsafe (faulty DC in?) I have tried a fully charged battery in the laptop, could having a faulty magsafe DC in cause it to not turn on from a full battery? Thanks
Remove your battery and attach the charger to the computer. Try to power on. Does it turn on then? Check if your backlight went out. You can do this by shining a flashlight through the Apple logo on the lid.
