I followed the instructions from this site that refers to desassemblying the laptop in order to change the speakers (MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 Subwoofer & Right Speaker Replacement andMacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 Left Speaker Replacement). Everything seemed to be perfect but now the power button doesn’t work. The button that indicates battery level works. Any ideas?
Try this: Turn on Macbook Pro with Power Pads See if the system boots up. If it does is the trackpad & keyboard working? Test all of the keys! If not your ribbon cable is not seated or the logic board connector is not latched
