Hey there! I accidentally spilled some tea to my Macbook Pro 13 (2017, Touchbar). There was a liquid near the On/Off button, the Touchbar and the upper right corner of the keyboard. I immediately wiped the water off from the keyboard, and, as long as it was still working, I continued using it (I realised later that it was a big mistake). After 5 minutes of usage it turned off and now it turns off every time when I switch it on - it shows the Apple logo and turns off. Can anybody suggest, what can be the problem? P.S. I took it to the repair center in my country (Uzbekistan) the next day, but it has been a week since then and they still can’t recognize the problem. They immediately disconnected the battery though…

You’ve likely damaged/shorted the logic board, which will require professional microsoldering repair.

The logic board is extremely well protected from liquid entering via the keyboard. Certainly the uppercase has shorted out, but a replacement of it has a very high probability of fixing the problem.
