Year 2010 Mac book Pro 15" Model : A1286 Boot up the Apple logo appear and process bar half way through replaced by " No entry sign" . Follow youtube tips to reset SMC but no hlep..
Do you have a backup of your data? A reinstall of the OS may be needed. Are you able to see your harddrives if you hold down the alt key when booting?
