I was wondering if it’s possible to swap an older mother board on the 2009 MacBook Pro 13 unibody to something newer . I would like to redo the mother board and have it become faster. I want something that has like a Intel I7 . I was wondering if those motherboards are compatable with this computer . I would like to do a swap on that.
Switching from a Core 2 Duo to and Intel i7 won’t work. You can go to a faster C2D. For speed go to an SSD drive or a SSHD and max the RAM.
