Hi I’m trying to find out what unibodies are compatible with my MacBook or parts I dropped it and dented badly and cracked the screen, i want to buy an self assembly screen and a casing but I can’t seem to find out can I buy other models or do I need the exsact body,
No unibody Mac parts will be compatible with your retina Mac, unfortunately. The outer casing and screen are ridiculously expensive to replace, it’s up to you if you want to replace those parts or not. Is EMC Number makes any difference!!? I have a screen for my macpro same late 2013, but different EMC, and it didn’t worked!!! The screen just black :(
