My MacBook Pro boots up. Looks like it is working fine. But, after a while, sometimes 5 minutes and sometimes 30 minutes, on display, freezes, and starts beeping 3 times. See attached short video please.

Let’s first run the onboard diagnostics to check things. Your issue could be bad RAM. This series uses the main RAM for its VRAM. The three beeps is telling me your RAM is the issue. So is it the RAM its self or the RAM holder? Restart your system and Press the D key let us know how it goes. You may need to run is a few times.

Those sounds usually mean the RAM, so it could be that, it could maybe be the logic boards, but these models are notorious for having GPU failures, which would explain the screen going bad. I would look around some on the Internet, and either try to diagnose it more yourself or take it to a local repair shop to have it diagnosed. Good luck!

Remove the ram stick from the lower ram slot and try to run the computer.
