Since yesterday my 2019 MacBook Pro has been acting up - the display keeps flashing pink lines, flickering areas across the screen. I’ve rebooted, restarted NVRAM, and upgraded to Big Sur as well. It did not help. The screen glitching continues. I contacted Apple. They told me to mail it in and pay £500+. This is insane after paying £2000+ in 2019 to buy the MacBook. All the Apple Stores in London are closed because of the lockdown. I don’t have a lot of options. How can I fix this?
I would make an appointment with Apple for their Apple Store repair. You do have a problem as right now the UK is in lockdown. So you need to get it logged so its clear the issue was within the warranty window. You should not be paying anything as this is a defect within the display (As long as you didn’t damage it your self)
