Hi, The click on my trackpad keeps changing. Is the software that controls the trackpad stored as firmware or as a software driver? I feel that the firmness of my trackpad has changed and now clicks like the 2019 macbook pro model. Are they forcing the trackpad driver in the forced updates ? How can I reset the trackpad to click like it once did? Thanks,
There is no adjustment beyond the control panel. If that doesn’t solve your issue you likely have a bad touchpad and/or the battery is pressing on it.
