Hello! I have a MacBook Pro A1707 It’s a 15inch with touchbar I believe mid 2016-2017 I just replaced the battery and it won’t cut on at all. I went out and bought a brand new charger and it still won’t cut on No lights, no fans, nothing at all. Ive already tried multiple things like Cntrl + Option + Shift, power button. Any ideas?
If the issue began when you replaced the battery, then the problem may be the battery itself or damage that occurred while replacing it. Try reopening the MacBook and looking for physical damage. The fact that the battery light doesn’t appear is a clue that the battery is the problem, though.
Have you tried to open it up and look for signs of corrosion or anything? I had my computer sit for a while, and this was the culprit. Ended up taking it into the Apple store, they removed my hard drive, then I bought a SATA-USB cord to get what I had off it.
