My 2013 macbook air running (i believe) OS X Mojave wont boot. It stays on the black loading screen with the progress bar loading very slowly and when it is full after a while shuts off the mac. I’ve tried resetting the SMC, the NVRAM, PRAM, booting into safe mode and recovery (both internet and local recovery) . Safe mode or recovery both were not able to boot. I’ve created a bootable USB to reinstall the OS, however when booting from the USB the progress bar is very slow and eventually doesn’t boot from the USB. I’ve tested the USB on a different macbook air that had no issue booting into the USB installer. Any ideas on how to revive the macbook air that seemingly doesn’t have hardware issues?

@savagegunner00 - At this point I think you need to try another internal Original Apple SSD to see if you are able to boot up under it. I have one that I use for diagnostic purposes. It has Sierra on it as that’s the last HFS+ bootable OS the blade SSD’s the 2015 and older MacBook Air’s/Pro’s can use. If it works I know the users SSD is worn or damaged.
