i got this monitor from a friend that said that it happend to him in the past then after a while it stopped going black and worked normally, but the problem came back, the screen is steal turned on because the blue light is on and not flickering, and if i turn it off and on again it shows the image for like a second before going black again.
Hi, When the screen goes black, try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and check if you can still detect an image at all. The images will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help. If you can detect an image then there is a backlight problem with the screen. Not much information online regarding the display so I don’t know how the backlights are being powered i.e. from a separate feed from a power board or from the mainboard passing the power through from the power board (or even it if has two boards, mainboard and power board or just the one board). You may just have to open it up and check what is there.
