I’ve replaced the cable for my Magsafe 2 A1424, 85W charger but it hasn’t fixed it. I guess I need to get the hairdrier out and/or a hammer. My question is: How difficult is the fix likely to be once I get inside? A simple capacitor change, or worse?
I think you’re digging a still deeper hole ;-{ In the end you still have an unsafe charger as the protective case is not protecting you from the hight voltages inside!
