I bought a new logical board and following the tutorial for change logical board that have here, i get out the old logical board but it looks good, so my debout is about my magsafe. I tested my magsafe adpter in the L connector and i give 17.4V. Is this value correct??? So i try to test my magsafe inboard and i dont got any value in the conector for logical board, so how i can check my inboar magsafe??? Thanks for all and sorry for any english error! Becarefull in your measuring as you can easily damage either your MagSafe charger or your logic board! If I understand correctly the MagSafe connector is not passing the power from the power adapter to the logic board. This is not that uncommon as the pressure & heat of the connection distorts the plastic so the connection within the MagSafe connector. Here is the IFIXIT guide to replace it: MacBook Core 2 Duo Magsafe Board Replacement and here is the needed part: MacBook MagSafe DC-In Board Also here is a good reference on what to check with the MagSafe adapter as well as the connector its self: Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters and here’s a good diagram of the pin assingments: Wikipedia - MagSafe
