Hello Everyone, My Marshall Stanmore Speaker’s Bluetooth has stopped working. Its a very strange issue that I am facing. I have been using it for last 6 months . But suddenly its bluetooth has stopped working. Please check the video for more reference. https://youtu.be/eAaJQEYqtDc I couldn’t send it to Marshal care as I dont have the bill with me, because I bought it on Ebay and the seller isnt providing me any bill. I will be thankful to anyone who can guide me how to fix it.
The speaker is a real bad deal. So fashionable but no assistance at all. Mine died after 2,5 years of low usage. No way to fix it without spending more than it costs (according to Zoundindustries support). I tried with two local electronics to find the problem but no answer to it. Which makes it a pretty lousy product. Go for classic brands… or be sure that you’re buying time limited working garbage. Check the picture
My fix was not to purchase any Marshall products. The Stanmore was a poorly designed unit with low quality electronics. Bose, JBL, or Sonos are far superior.
Hey William, My Marshall Stanmore, one of the ones from that first batch years ago, also broke randomly after about a year, year and half of use. Bluetooth or aux-in just gave the tiniest faintest whisper of sound if you placed your ear up next to it, something was clearly busted, and the local speaker repair shop didn’t know how to fix it. If you were like me and held onto your speaker as a pretty paperweight, they now offer a fix! It’s considered a free out-of-warranty repair, but you WILL have to pay for shipping both ways. Ended up costing me about $80USD total. Go to: https://support.marshallheadphones.com/h… and submit a repair request. You’ll then have to answer some questions, and send a photo of the serial number to them, with which they will verify if it “qualifies” for a repair. Then there are some specific instructions about how to pack and ship it to their repair center, and once the repair is done (about two weeks time for me) they will send you an invoice to pay for the return shipping. I’m beyond glad I held onto it for the last 2.5 years now, just got it back and it is working and sounding beautifully!
My Marshall stanmore would not go into Pairing at startup or when pairing button pressed. Everything else worked great in aux mode. Three phones, bluetooth testing and stanmore factory reset and still no joy. But I while playing with it I got it to go into pairing(red blinking light) and the fix now works everytime. Fix is: I press and hold the pairing button then quick press the mode button and the unit goes into pairing(red blinking light) pairs with my phone and works great. How this helps someone or someone tells me why it works.
I had same Problem with the first Stanmore I, after 5 Years, no sound any more. Luckily, a Colleague is a really good Electronic Freak, he tried to repair it. He locate broken Chips, what was burned, because of to much heat. He replaced it, but mainboard burned again. He told me that the electronics on the boards get to hot for the low Quality Parts. (By Design, maybe that’s why Marshall came out now with the Stanmore II) Anyway, i bought a new Stanmore I and will put on the back Aluminium Radiator fins and hope that will solve the overheating Problems.
I have now the same problem. And I also lost my warranty card. Can someone send me the warranty card? I would like to have the speaker repaired. Merci for your help.
I had the same issue, no blinking red light upon pushing and holding “pair”, solid red light. Found this thread and was submitting a request to Marshall for repair. I decided to try once more for the tenth time. Pushed pair and held it, no blinking red light, tilted it forward to read the serial number off the back of the device, decided to pull the power plug and flip it upside down and plug it back in while ON/OFF switch was in ON position. Bluetooth light started fast blinking immediately, and paired to my iOS device on the second attempt.
My Marshall stanmore speaker keeps shutting off and on now it is not coming on at all
So it’s a long post of people saying the same thing, No solution!
Same here, after 2 years of occasional use. A wolf in sheep’s clothing . No more Marshall products.
same here, resets every 5 minites on the dime, and now my 440 euro speaker is worth less then a 16 euro sony that does the &&^&^$^ job. after experiencing the servi(sales) and feeling rather the opposite of being happy with a premium brand i felt used and shorthanded. no more marshalls for me as well. shame because i would buy 2 or 3 more easaly.. (for marshall , lol)
