I have Maytag model mfi2568aes not cooling and coils were just cleaned out and it started to change the temps to as high as 69 in the fridge and 65 in the freezer. We have removed all the food that we could as we watched that temps rise from 8 am on Saturday morning to way above what is considered safe. I can hear the fans turning on but not the compressor.
Hi If the compressor is not starting/running it may be a faulty compressor start relay + capacitor part # W10613606 (supplier example only to show part). See image for location of relay near compressor. Pull it out and check if it rattles if you very gently shake it. If it does, replace it
