I have a MB Pro 2012 and I need to find the correct AHT version for this particular computer. Currently, I am running El Capitan. Obviously, when I use D or Cmd + D it invokes Internet Recovery which then gives this message “Error….Cannot Load “EFI/Drivers/TestSupport.efi”. I did refer to the Github article and I did follow the directions and it didn’t work when using the proper .dmg file. MacBook Pro 9,1 Mac-4B7AC7E43945597E I understand I could use other utilities to check the hardware status of the computer. I am not having any issues but it is helpful to have in case I do need to use it.
Your other option is finding the Apple Service Diagnostic (ASD) 3S155. All Apple Hardware Test (AHT) & Apple Service Diagnostic (ASD) disks I’ve mostly given up on Apples diagnostics as Apple has made it so hard to just do verification level testing which is what most people need on the older systems.
