I have this MBA which boots to a screen with vertical stripes. I can access the machine via external screen. Would it be safe to conclude that I need to “ just” replace the screen and be OK after that?
Also, would it be safe to plug in a screen from a A1466, EMC 2925, 13” MBA to see if that will work?
Yeah you can plug in that screen, wont fit as it’s a 13” but good enough for testing. mid-2013 to early 2015 air 11” to 13” screens can be plugged into that model for testing.
Thank you Ben, I will give that a try before buying a new used screen. Also wondering if anyone would upload a link to ASD155 and ASD156 so I could go over the whole machine
