I just replaced the left speaker on my MBP 15” Retina Late 2013. As soon as I completed the repair, I tried turning on the computer and the display and the apple light on the cover won’t turn on. I have done the usual SMC reset (shift control option power) and PRAM reset (cmd option P R) but to no avail. I was very careful when disconnecting and reconnecting the video data cable during the speaker repair and have disconnected it and reconnected it several more times to try to get things working again but with no luck. Any ideas what’s wrong?
This doesn’t sound good ;-{ It looks like you have a few problems which are un-related to each other the USB port and the HDMI and then the internal displays backlight. I think it’s time to get some help locally. Do you have an independent Mac repair near you?
