Hello, I’m just looking for a little bit of help cause I can understand what needs replacing on my iPhone 7, I’ve been coming across and issue on my phone where once I’m on a call I can’t hear anyone through the ear piece speaker and they can’t hear me. I can put it on speaker and hear them fine but they cannot hear me. So it like my microphone and earpiece has stopped working. When I make a video the sound on it is very strange and sounds like it’s speed up really fast. When doing a voice memo there is no sound recorded but Siri works perfect. The strangest thing is when I do a soft reset with the phone everything works fine ie earpiece, microphone for about 10-20 mins the returns to not working again. The issue completely baffles me and just need to know what I need to replace or what would solve the issue. I have sent my device off to Apple and they wouldn’t repair it because apparently the ‘Speaker Screen has been pieced’
Hi this seems to be an issue with the Audio IC chip. I would take it into a local shop and see if they can determine or recreate the issue. Has the device been previously worked on?
