Hello I replaced the housing for iPhone 8. Now, if you record a video, you can hear a high pitch noise in background. This happens with both rear and front camera microphones. Also, Siri doesnt recognize the ‘hey siri’ command. The speakers are working fine, because when listening to music or watching youtube, there are no bacground noise.
My guess here is you have damaged the microphones in your phone which is easily done as they are so delicate. Try replacing them and your problem will be fixed.
