My mobile data stops working normally 1 or 2 times a day. I have to enable and disable airplane mode. It does NOT display “no service’’ and I can still make calls and send normal text messages when it happens. Websites won’t load but YouTube video’s do. I tried most normal troubleshooting steps. Its on iOS 15.4.1. Does anybody else have this issue or is it caused by my carrier or is it an hardware issue?? This iPhone is only a week old.
I’d be surprised if this were a hardware issue. But if you have an Apple Store nearby and some spare time, a visit to the Genius Bar couldn’t hurt. They can run a diagnostic test on the cellular RF hardware. (Make sure you have your data backed up first, because repair/replacement will mean data loss otherwise.) To help isolate the cause, it would be worthwhile to start logging whenever this happens. Then look for any patterns, like time of day, location, any accessories in use, etc. That could help sort out whether there’s an environmental cause that’s within your control (as opposed to a carrier issue). Are you using a VPN? When my cellular data temporarily loses internet access, my VPN is inevitably the cause.
You might want to check the network settings on the phone itself. To do this, you need to open the general settings and find the desired category. Then compare it to the network operator in your city. If it doesn’t match, then reconfigure it. If there is a match, then reconfigure the proxy servers. If you need the proxy to visit blocked sites and social networks, you can use HTTP/HTTPS proxies. You may find https://soax.com/premium-proxy-trial helpful for this. But for web anonymity, data parsing, SMM, and SEO, SOCKS should be preferred.
