It might be a no brainer, I’d like to ask if I replace the existing logic board will the SMC and PRAM also be new?
SMC is the System Management Computer chip, Yes! Your system has a few computing elements. In this case this micro-processor is responsible for the care and feeding of the main CPU both from power and cooling. It monitors different sensors within your system to do this task. PRAM (NVRAM in this series) is the Non Volatile Random Access Memory is also a chip in your system. It holds the BIOS services which holds the EFI Extensible Firmware Interface that makes Mac a Mac as well as other important data. It holds locked and unlocked data that can’t be altered directly only via the systems CPU and the running OS under the admin level. So yes, both of these chips are part of the main logic board and are soldered on to it. How about telling why you ask this question as maybe we can help you fix your system before resorting to a replacement logic board.
